My bath room has mold problem, should I install a bath room fan in the window.?

I live in New York. It's is cold in winter. Is it ok? Some one suggested me to intalled it on the ceiling but I worried my attic has fibreglass. My bath room has mold problem, should I install a bath room fan in the window.?
check the pipes aren't leaking behind the tiles first. Do this by turning off the water to the house, take a meter reading then when you come home in the afternoon see there was any movement. Also leave the door open whenever it is not in use. If mould continues then a fan is a good idea.My bath room has mold problem, should I install a bath room fan in the window.?
The idea would be the circulate the air and get the condensation out. Especially while taking a shower or bath, get that moisture out. There is enough fiberglass to bother you there.
I had a real bad mold problem in our bathroom, so 2

things helped, one was a ceiling fan (it was vented to

the outside just above the window) and the other

was to paint the bathroom with Killz paint- I no longer

have mold on the walls and ceilings, the only place

I have to keep an eye on is the shower.
yes you need either an air brick or an electric extractor fan, your problem is air flow you could leave windows open as temporary measure
A fan is part of the answer. The next time you need to paint, carefully choose a mold resistant one.
ceiling fans are not meant to vent into the attic. they have an outlet on them for a flexible pipe to be attached. you then run this to a wall or roof termination (depending on the floor the bathroom is located on.)

this is code here in canada, to stop mold growth in humid rooms like bathrooms. a window fan would help, but a ceiling fan would be the best method of fighting this problem.
Open the bathroom door everytime after you finish taking a shower to let it air out, also you can just use a regular small fan, plug it in and have it face the bathroom. Also I heard chalk sucks up moisture.
