What is considered ';keeping regular'; in the bath room? Once a day? More? Less?

once a day is fineWhat is considered ';keeping regular'; in the bath room? Once a day? More? Less?
It depends on the person, but doctors will tell you that anywhere from three times a day to two times a week is normal.

The big variation depends on several factors:

-how much you eat (thus how much comes out)

-what you eat (some foods pass more quickly than others)

-how much fiber is in your diet (creates bulk in the digestive system)

-how fast your digestive system works (different for different people)

-how old you are (digestion slows with age)

-how active you are (activity speeds digestion)

-what medicines you take (can speed or slow digestion)

As long as your bowel movements are formed, not hard or runny and not painful to pass, you are okay. If you have diarrhea frequently, see your doctor as it may be a symptom of an illness. If you are constipated, try eating more fiber or taking fiber supplements and see your doctor if it doesn't help.

Hope that helps!!! Good luck and best wishes. What is considered ';keeping regular'; in the bath room? Once a day? More? Less?
