What should I do with it I don't want to hurt the earth. Should i bring it to radio shack? Or should I take out the battery ? And bring it to radio shack.Recycling a bath room scale ?

do your city recycle metal ? take it apart %26amp; put the metal parts in the bin. They might not want it either %26amp; will toss it it in trash

It depends, if it still works, you can Freecycle it or donate it to a charity shop.
