I live in a new moble home and my shower in master bath room will not get hot. what can I do myself to fix it?

Since this is a newer house I'm guessing you have a posi-temp shower faucet. Take the handle and the sleeve with grooves off. Allign them so you can turn it all the way to the hot side. These posi-temps are a safety device to keep from scalding the elderly and young children, a good thing, but can be a pain to the rest of us. Hope this helps.I live in a new moble home and my shower in master bath room will not get hot. what can I do myself to fix it?
Go to www.handyman.com. They have experts online and they walked me through a hot water heater fiasco from start to finish. It is free and it is a great site with experts popping on frequently to share their wisdom! Good luck!I live in a new moble home and my shower in master bath room will not get hot. what can I do myself to fix it?
There usually is a thermostat on your hot water heater. Find it, turn it up and the heater should produce hotter water.
I LIVED IN A MOBLE HOME BEFORE AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, MY WATER HEATER WAS TO FAR AWAY FROM THE MASTER BEDROOM,THE WATER WOULD GET HOT BUT IT TOOK FOR EVER FOR THE HOT WATER TO GET THERE.
If it's brand new contact the manufacturer or the dealer you bought it from. I had the same problem years ago and the problem was they ran the water lines wrong. Depending on the manufacturer you should have a warranty of anywhere from 1-5 years. If you try to fix it yourself and fail you will void any warranty you may have.

Good Luck!!
If you have hot water in other bathroom or sinks then your cartridge in the faucet is bed.

If don't have prior experience with cartridge then call plumber because it can be very messy work.

Or if you don't have hot water any where in house then first check circuit breaker, make sure water is connected ad on and then check thermostat.
