How do i remove a wall paper from my bath room, am I have to place wall paper again or can I paint the wall?

The best way is a steamer that you can pick up for around 30 bucks. I tried that diff crap and it is was a wast of money and time. The steamer worked fast and clean without any chemicals. How do i remove a wall paper from my bath room, am I have to place wall paper again or can I paint the wall?
They make a wallpaper remover that you rub on the outside of the paper, it will break down the glue to remove it. You can paint it if the wall looks fine behind the paper. You can repair any damage with drywall mud and wipe down your edges with a wet wash cloth to smooth it so that it blends better after you sand the patches. How do i remove a wall paper from my bath room, am I have to place wall paper again or can I paint the wall?
I had to do this once, i took a spray bottle filled it with water and dish soap. Sprayed until soaking wet and rubbed with a towel and started piling off paper. This may take a while for an entire bathroom but it's the only way i know of. You could go to a hard ware store and see what they prefer.
Depending on what the wallpaper is made of, you can either pull it off (if it's a vinyl type) or you can get warm water in a spray bottle and spray down the wall a section at a time and wait for it to soak in. Once it has gotten soft, you scrape it off with a putty knife or simialr tool. If there is ad adhesive residue, you may want to sand the walls down a bit before painting or repapering.
1) How to remove wall paper: Several suggested ways by different people.. I have found that the best way is to add a quart of white vinegar to a 2-3 gallon bucket of weater... with a sponge, sponge lightly(not slopping it on) the wall.. taking a large section at a time if you want but from top to bottom.... after a short while(5 minutes or so.. do it again....and if necessary, again.. then attempt to start at the top.. getting some of the wall paper loose and HOEFULLY just pulling it down. DO NOT BE ALARMED if you take part of the wall board with it... UNFORTUNATELY.. that is necessary from time to time... Thus.. when the wall paper is down(you may have to sponge spots from time to time, and here and there), take a wall spackle and fill in any of the holes that were taken out of the wall board when you took the wall paper down.

Then if you want to paint the wall(instead of putting wall paper on it again, you should(to make it more interesting) texture the wall and then paint with a primer(KILZ) and then after a day, put on the color of the paint that you want... you may have to give it two coats.

If you want to use wall paper again after you take off the existing wall paper, sand down the areas where you filled in any holes when taking off the wall paper and apply the new wall paper.

For heavens sake.. DO NOT apply paint over the existing wall paper or you may be sorry in the future when some of the existing wall paper peels
Spray on fabric softner.Let it soak a bit,it should peel off pretty easy.
Wet the paper with warm water and let it set a few minutes, then scrape it. If you get the paper of smoothly, it can probably be painted. But you should wipe the walls down with bleach water to be sure it is clean and then put a paint primer on before you paint to final coat.
The best way is to get a Wallpaper tiger claw ($8.00) and some ';Diff'; wall paper remover in the spray bottle ($6.00). You use the claw to score the wallpaper in a circular motion. This put tiny holes in the paper for the diff to absorb. After scoring the paper , spray the Diff on and wait eight to ten minutes and than start peeling the paper off. If you are going to paint , wash the walls good with a hot water and Diff solution to remove any excess glue. Prime with a good sealer (Kilz) than paint with a high quality mildew resistance Kitchen/Bathroom paint. The whole project should be under $70.00 to do it yourself . Good Luck
Buy a steam machine wall paper remover, putty knives, spackling, sand paper, wall primer, choice of color paint.Ask questions at the place of purchase.Maybe Lowes or home depot?
